Einige Kommentatoren vermuten, dass Johannes hier eine symbolische Sprache verwendet, so dass diese \u201eHerrin und ihre Kinder\u201c dann eine Umschreibung f\u00fcr eine \u00f6rtliche Gemeinde darstellt. Sie sind der Meinung, dass Johannes sich auf eine andere lokale Gemeinde bezieht, wenn er abschlie\u00dfend sagt: \u201eEs gr\u00fc\u00dfen dich die Kinder deiner auserw\u00e4hlten Schwester\u201c (V. 13, ELB).
