The Transforming Power of Forgiveness - Le Pouvoir de Transformation du Pardon
01 June 2008 / Audio, English = French, Pastoral Related Material
Forgiveness is an important theme in the Bible. We are called to forgive as the Lord forgave us. But, when is the right moment to forgive? Should we forgive if the offender is not repentant? If we forgive too soon, aren’t we promoting unrighteousness? If we keep on forgiving, the offender keeps on offending. Doesn’t forgiveness conflict with justice? Should we tell the offender that we have forgiven him/her? Is forgiveness the beginning or the end of a restauration process? What happens if we just can’t forgive? These and other matters are addressed Biblically and practically in two seminars. These were presented in Switzerland on 8 June 2008 in ENGLISH and simultaneously translated into FRENCH by Jean-Pascal RICHIR.
